IDEA is a joint project between the Department of Economics of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, the Institut d´Anàlisi Econòmica, and the Barcelona School of Economics designed to train high-level research economists.
The IDEA Graduate Program offers both a Master of Research in Economics and a Ph.D. It is a fully international program: our students come from all five continents, our faculty and campus are immersed in an English-speaking international academic community, and our graduates participate and find placement in the global job market.
